Located on Chincoteague Island off the Virginia coast, Chincoteague Center is the ideal choice for your business convention, corporate event, reunion, meeting, wedding, concert, tradeshow, theatrical / musical production or almost any special event!
Chincoteague Center is operated by the Town of Chincoteague. Chincoteague Center was opened in 1996 with the goal of promoting commerce and tourism as well as provide a facility for community use and commercial rental opportunities. It was built without cost to the taxpayers of Chincoteague or Accomack County and is operated on a fee basis.
With the capacity for events ranging from 40 to 600 people, the Center offers the flexibility to rearrange walls to offer a space of 750 square feet to space of 9,000 square feet meeting any of your needs. Our spacious lobby, restroom facilities and catering kitchen provide everything needed for a successful event. Our kitchen offers warming ovens, steam table, ice machine, commercial sink, refrigerator and freezer. Local caterers, preparing your food at their restaurants, will have everything they need to ensure your meal is hot, artful, and delicious.
Electrical outlets and hi-speed wireless internet access is available. Conduits for additional service and a cargo door are available to accommodate exhibits and show equipment. The building will handle as many as sixty-seven 8′ x 8′ booths, or twenty-nine 8′ x 8′ or twenty-four 10′ x 10′ booths.
Tables and chairs are included in your rental agreement. Our rectangular tables are 6′ x 2.5′ and we have sixteen 60″ diameter round tables. We do not offer table linens but they are available through your caterer or wedding designer.
Chincoteague Center offers a variety of services and equipment. A multi-sized stage is also available. Please contact the Center staff for more details.
